Parramore Kidz Zone Joins Forces with Oprah Winfrey's
O Magazine and Crocs Shoes in the Imagination Campaign
On Thursday, May 16, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will join with
children from the Parramore Kidz Zone (PKZ) to participate in an
“imagination project.” The event is part of Oprah Winfrey’s O Magazine
and Crocs Shoe’s Imagination Campaign that encourages youth to use their
imagination to explore the possibilities before them, build hope and
engage in active learning.
The event will also feature Page 15’s Walk 100 Words art project. The
art display features a 100-word prose poem displayed on 100 pairs of
Crocs shoes meant to inspire kids and adults alike to take frequent
walks through the world of their imagination. The project was selected
as a winner as part of the Imagination Campaign.
At the event, Mayor Dyer will share how he uses the power of imagination
in his job each day and each participating child will get a pair of
