Stops Expands to More Intersections
The City recently
added cameras to seven new intersections as part
of its Orlando Stops program. Orlando Stops is
designed to discourage red light running and
reduce the number of intersection accidents.
This red light enforcement system uses cameras
to both photograph and video vehicles that run
red lights. Vehicle owners are fined $125 for
the first and second violation and $250 for the
third and following tickets. The seven new
intersections are marked with an Orlando Stops
sign.
