2009 OPD Officer of the Year

Officer Finley Johnson was selected as the 2009 Officer of the Year for the Orlando Police Department (OPD). Since joining OPD in December 2007, Officer Johnson has helped reduce violent crime in the northwest sector of Orlando. He is among the top performers for all patrol officers in areas such as calls for service, traffic contacts and total arrests. Because he understands the importance of community service and the significance of making a difference in the lives of Orlando’s youth, Officer Johnson also volunteers as a mentor in Operation Positive Direction, an Orlando Police Department Youth Mentoring Program. Congratulations Officer Johnson on this distinguished honor!
