About Us :: Staff
Adolfina Ortiz Fina has been working with the Office of Emergency Management team since 2003. After serving four years as the Staff Assistant, she accepted the Disaster Volunteer Manager position. As the Disaster Volunteer Manager, Fina is responsible for coordinating the Orlando Citizen Corps and Medical Reserve Corps programs in Orlando. She also provides administrative support throughout the Central Florida region. Additionally, she coordinates training to prepare volunteers willing to help during the recovery effort, after the first 72-hours of a disaster. She has coordinated the logistics for numerous emergency activations, including hurricanes Charley, Frances, Jeanne, Katrina, Rita, and Wilma. Fina is proficient in both English and Spanish. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Secretarial Science at Pontifical Catholic University in 1991 and also completed a Volunteer Administrator Certificate.
