City Agencies and Employees

City of Orlando Agencies and Employees play a great role in emergency management. From preparation to recovery, every agency and employee can get involved in emergency management.

OEM provides a number of resources to City agencies and employees including alerts through the text-based messaging system, Orlando Alert. This system will send updates regarding emergency situations to City of Orlando employees only. Contact us to enroll in the Orlando Alert system.

Additionally, City agencies are an integral part of the Emergency Operations Center. During an emergency, OEM or the Mayor's office may ask representatives of city agencies to staff the Emergency Operations Center.
