Guidelines
for the Hispanic Chamber’s
Web Site Seal of Approval
Why
a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Seal of Approval?
The recent Census data for 2000 shows what the Hispanic community
has already known: the
Hispanic population plays a significant role in our communities and
economy and is an important part of our country’s future growth.
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Web Site Seal of Approval
recognizes local and state governments who make their sites
accessible to people who speak Spanish.
By
doing so, these cities help connect the Hispanic community to local
government and educate them about how local government works. By making occupational and business information accessible,
bilingual sites help bring new residents into the American
government and economic system.
For the city, multi-lingual sites help promote their
community and economic opportunities to an international business
audience.
