Leu Gardens Re-Opening Saturday

Orlando, Florida---After being closed for the first time in its 43-year history, Harry P. Leu Gardens will have a Grand
Re-opening on Saturday, August 28 at 9:00 a.m. and a Gift Shop sale all weekend.  The gardens will resume regular operation hours.  The most popular areas such as the Rose Garden, Butterfly Garden and Home Demonstration Garden will open for guests; however, there are areas in the gardens that will be closed to the public until all clean-up and safety issues are resolved. 

Leu Gardens has established a tree fund to replace and replenish lost trees.  Anyone wishing to donate please contact the gardens or stop by the main visitors center.  Leu Gardens, located at 1920 North Forest Ave., 407-246-2620, is home to more than 8,000 different plants, many of which are rare or threatened with extinction.
