ABC’S ART EXHIBITION AND RECEPTION

ORLANDO, FL (September 29, 2004) – The City of Orlando Thursday, September 30, 2004, from 5 to 7 p.m. will host a wine and cheese reception and celebration of the Art By Coalition Children (ABC’s) exhibit at Orlando City Hall rotunda at 400 S. Orange Ave. The general public is invited to attend.

The ABC’s exhibit features original works of art, including photography, acrylics, poetry, music, ink, sculpture, pottery and drawings, created by children residing at the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida.

Created to inspire and expose the children residing at the Coalition to various art forms from a professional’s point of view, the Art By Coalition Children program began in October 2003 as a collaboration between the Coalition and individuals representing Central Florida’s arts, business and education communities. The exhibit will be featured at Orlando City Hall until November 7, 2004.
