Meet the Staff

Director, Audit Services and Management Support - George J. McGowan, CPA
George worked for the City since 1988 taking a slight detour from 2008-2011 to work for his alma mater, UCF. He is responsible for the overall direction of the office and serves as an advisor to the Mayor on various City issues.

Auditor II - Sheila Jones, MAFM
Sheila joined the City in January 2011.  She brings governmental accounting experience from Orange County Public Schools and has also worked in the government sector as a contractor with one of the Big 4 auditing firms.  Sheila is responsible for conducting revenue and performance audits, and special projects.
