In 2004, the Mayor's Education Action Council, with assistance from the City of Orlando's Office of Communications and Neighborhood Enhancement, produced a series of Public Service Announcements educating parents about the skills their children need to be "ready for kindergarten." The spots feature national celebrities who have roots in the Central Florida community.
