MAYOR TO DELIVER
2006 STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS
ORLANDO, Fla. (Wednesday, February 8, 2006) –
Mayor Buddy Dyer will deliver his State of the City Address at 10:00 a.m. on
Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at City Hall Council Chambers. The State of the
City Address will be open to the public and will be televised live on Orange TV.
Citizens and business and community leaders will get a first-hand look at Mayor
Dyer’s vision for the City of Orlando and an update on his priorities for the
community.
The address will also be rebroadcast on Orange TV at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd
and at 2:00 p.m. on February 26th. Guests are asked to arrive at least 20
minutes prior to the start of the address, as seating is limited. Parking will
be available at the City Hall Visitor Lot, located at the Southeast corner of
South Street and Orange Avenue, and in the City Commons Parking Garage. There
will be a table located outside Council Chambers for parking validation.
Editor’s Note: There are several options for media to carry the Mayor’s address.
There will be space for videographers and photographers in the back center
section of Council Chambers as well as in the usual Council Meeting Press area.
There will also be space available on a first come first serve basis for those
who wish to pull feed directly from City Communications. In addition, the entire
address may be recorded live from Orange TV.
The Mayor will be available for interviews immediately following the address in
