"We received official confirmation from AQMI Strategy Corporation that Joe
Robinson is currently being detained in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
For 25 years, Joe was a dedicated member of the City of Orlando family and
police department, and we are keeping Joe and his family in our thoughts and
prayers."
The Mayor will not be available for additional comment and is not
available for any on-camera interviews. This statement serves as the City's
formal comment on the situation.
