MAYOR BUDDY DYER AND THE ORLANDO FIRE DEPARTMENT UNVEIL STATE-OF-THE-ART FIRE TRUCK – TOWER 8

New 95-foot Ladder On Line to Enhance Service In the Southeast Corridor of Orlando

WHAT: This Thursday, June 15, Mayor Dyer and the Orlando Fire Department will unveil it’s new fire truck, Tower 8. As the City moves forward with infrastructure to support growth and enhance public safety, this 95-foot ladder, with full advanced life support capabilities, will enhance service in the City’s growing southeast corridor, including Lake Nona, Lee Vista and our airport.

Since 1885, the City of Orlando’s Fire Department has been protecting lives and property of Orlando citizens and visitors. With the new Tower 8, the City of Orlando is taking one more step to ensure the public safety of the entire community.
