WHAT: On Wednesday, October 4, Mayor Buddy Dyer will deliver his 2006
State of Downtown Address to a standing-room-only crowd of more than 600 people
at the Downtown Orlando Partnership’s annual event.
With the recent announcement of a new events center, performing arts center and
renovated Citrus Bowl all in Downtown Orlando coupled with the nearly 70 quality
developments including restaurants, retail, residential and office buildings
either completed, under construction or proposed--Mayor Dyer’s vision for a
revitalized, vibrant urban core continues to become a reality.
Those attending the State of Downtown address will get a first-hand look at what
the future holds for Downtown Orlando and what this unparalleled surge of
development and redevelopment means for Central Florida residents.
