WHAT: Mark your calendar for a one-of-a-kind parade in celebration of the homecoming, appreciation and support for our men and women in uniform. On October 21st, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and Orlando Harley-Davidson invite the community to come show your support for the dedicated Central Florida men and women serving in the armed forces at the “Thank You Troops” event. This spectacular event will start with a parade featuring military vehicles and motorcycles, followed by a patriotic celebration including a care package drive and letter writing campaign to our men and women overseas.

All bikers are welcome to show up and participate in the parade that will begin at 9:45 a.m. leaving from Downtown Disney Pleasure Island and then riding out to Orlando Harley-Davidson on I-4. Those interested in viewing the parade will have the best vantage point on the Conroy Bridge over I-4. The parade is expected to travel through that area around 10:15 a.m.

Following the parade at Orlando Harley-Davidson will be a special presentation including the Honor Guard, the Florida Fallen Heroes Quilt Project, patriotic music from the VFW Post 2093 Band, presentations from Mayor Dyer and Brigadier General Joseph E. Orr and much more! Parking will be available at First Baptist Church.

Attendees to the event are encouraged to bring care package items including batteries, soft soap, phone cards, snacks, sunscreen, baby wipes, foot spray and disposable cameras.

11:15 a.m. Special Presentation
12:00 p.m. Bikefest Block Party

WHERE: Parade will start at Downtown Disney Pleasure Island
