City of Orlando Hosts
Informational Housing Fair to Increase Housing Opportunities for Residents
WHAT: In an effort to educate potential
homebuyers on homeownership opportunities available in Orlando, the City's
Housing Department is sponsoring a Housing Fair at the John H. Jackson Community
Center this Saturday. Realtors, lenders, housing counselors, and other housing
professionals will be in attendance to provide potential homeowners with all of
the tools necessary to purchase a home.
In addition, developers who are responsible for the construction of several
proposed mixed-income developments as part of Mayor Dyer’s Pathways for
Parramore Initiative in downtown Orlando, including Parramore Village and Otey
Place, will be on hand to discuss their plans.
The mission of the City of Orlando Housing Department is to maintain a
sustainable, livable, safe community for very low and moderate income persons.
