City of Orlando Hosts Informational Housing Fair to Increase Housing Opportunities for Residents

WHAT: In an effort to educate potential homebuyers on homeownership opportunities available in Orlando, the City's Housing Department is sponsoring a Housing Fair at the John H. Jackson Community Center this Saturday. Realtors, lenders, housing counselors, and other housing professionals will be in attendance to provide potential homeowners with all of the tools necessary to purchase a home.

In addition, developers who are responsible for the construction of several proposed mixed-income developments as part of Mayor Dyer’s Pathways for Parramore Initiative in downtown Orlando, including Parramore Village and Otey Place, will be on hand to discuss their plans.
The mission of the City of Orlando Housing Department is to maintain a sustainable, livable, safe community for very low and moderate income persons. For more information on the City's resources to participate in a wide range of affordable housing activities including: new construction, first time homebuyer education, owner-occupied housing rehabilitation and post disaster foreclosure prevention, please visit www.cityoforlando.net.
