ORLANDO, FL (April 23, 2003) – Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Thursday from 7 to 9 a.m. will participate in a workday with the City of Orlando Parks Bureau.

Mayor Dyer will ride along with a city “Annuals Crew” to do gardening work in two of the city’s annuals beds at Senator Beth Johnson Park and along 1-4.

7 a.m. Parks Yard - clock in, check vehicles and review assignments for the day

7:35 a.m. City Nursery - load tools and plants

8 a.m. Beth Johnson Park (next to Chamber/Orange Ave.) - plant bed of pink and white bronze leaf begonias in front of Chamber of Commerce

8:45 a.m. I-4 and Ivanhoe - pull existing annuals and prepare bed for planting with red velvet and gold bell coleus.
