GRAND OPENING AND NEW NAME ANNOUNCEMENT FOR NATURE PARK

ORLANDO, FL (June 3, 2003) – Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 2 Commissioner Betty Wyman will host a grand opening of Nature Park at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2003.

Festivities will include a presentation by Orange County Young Marines and an announcement of a new name for this neighborhood park.

This passive recreational area has a boardwalk and trails in a natural setting; a building with meeting and catering capabilities for 50 is also available. The park will open with limited hours: by appointment only on Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule activities in the park, please call 407-246-2855.
