13^th ANNUAL JACK-O-LANDO’S PUMPKIN PALACE

TO BE HELD AT DOVER SHORES COMMUNITY CENTER 

ORLANDO, FL (October 16, 2003) – On Saturday, October 25, 2003, from 6 to 9 p.m., the City of Orlando will host the 13^th Annual Jack-O-Lando’s Pumpkin Palace, a non-scary trick-or-treating event, at Dover Shores Community Center.  

As part of the City’s commitment to children and families, this event provides safe and fun trick-or-treating through themed rooms for children 11 years old and younger.  The event features hayrides, friendly costumed characters and a treat for every child that participates in the costume parade.  Festivities also include a parent-child costume contest.   

Dover Shores Community Center is located at 1400 Gaston Foster Road.  Admission is $3 per person.  Donations of baby items will be accepted for B.E.T.A. (Birth, Education, Training, Acceptance, Inc.), a center dedicated to enhancing the parenting skills of teen parents through intensive education and counseling programs.
