A COMMUNITY PREPARED

ORLANDO, Fla. (February 24, 2004) – Join Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orlando Fire Department Chief Robert Bowman, Orlando Police Department Chief Michael McCoy and Joel Hass, the CEO of the American Red Cross of Central Florida, on Thursday, March 4, 2004, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Orlando Expo Centre Downtown for Mission Possible…A Community Prepared.

Mission Possible is a reception spotlighting preparedness, training and volunteerism in the community. Residents are encouraged to attend to learn how to make their families, businesses and communities safer, stronger and better prepared to respond to any kind of disaster.

The event will be hosted by the American Red Cross of Central Florida, the Orlando Citizen Corps and the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The Orlando Expo Centre Downtown is located at 500 W. Livingston St. The event will be held in the Lake Highland Room. Free parking will be available at the T.D. Waterhouse Center.
