ORLANDO, FL (August 5, 2004) -- Orange County School Board Chairman Bert Carrier, Orange County Chairman Rich Crotty and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Monday will announce details about the Blue Ribbon Panel on Education.

The mission of the Blue Ribbon Panel on Education is to develop recommendations that will lead Orange County Public Schools and our community into a new era of improved student performance. Former state legislator Bill Sublette has been selected to lead the group; members and details of the newly formed panel will be outlined at the announcement.

From I-4 take exit 79 heading north on John Young Parkway. Proceed to L.B. McLeod Road and make a left. At the next light, make a right on Bruton Boulevard and proceed approximately 1 mile to Cepeda Street and make a left. The street will dead-end at the school.
