ORLANDO, FL (September 16, 2005) -- Mayor Buddy Dyer will deliver his 2005 State of Downtown Address at the annual Downtown Orlando Partnership event on Tuesday, September 20, 2005, to a standing-room-only of more than 450 members of the local business community.

Mayor Dyer has made downtown development a cornerstone of his agenda, keeping the City alive with new growth as he continues to invigorate the City’s downtown core. Those in attendance will get a first-hand look at Mayor Dyer’s vision for Downtown Orlando and an update on his priorities for the community.

Additionally, Frank Billingsley, Executive Director of the Downtown Development Board and Community Redevelopment Agency, will highlight the multitude of downtown projects underway, as well as a preview of projects and programs planned for the near future.
