Orlando, FL (October 31, 2005) On Wednesday, November 2, 2005, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, District 3 Commissioner Vicki Vargo and the City of Orlando’s Families, Parks and Recreation Department, will officially kick-off the opening of the newly constructed College Park Community Center.

College Park Community Center is the 9th of 12 City projects to be completed this year. Citizens of all ages can enjoy the exciting amenities this 18,000 sq. ft. recreation center has to offer including a state-of the-art gymnasium, fitness room, kitchen, computer lab, swimming facility and shaded playground area. Additionally, the Center has a multi-purpose room, which can be used for neighborhood gatherings.

College Park Community Center hours of operation are the following:

Monday- Friday 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Sunday 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.

The Aquatics Fall program includes the following:

Adult fitness seven days a week
Monday – Friday 6 -7:30 a.m., 11a.m. – 1 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. – 12 noon

Water aerobic classes
Tuesday and Thursday – 6:15 – 6:45 p.m.
