Mayor Buddy Dyer Joins Public Works Employees
for Aquatic Weed Spraying Work-Along
 October 17, 2005


On Monday, October 17, 2005, Mayor Buddy Dyer
worked with City licensed, aquatic chemical
applicator employees to spray aquatic weeds.

The Mayor and City Staff used an airboat to apply
aquatic herbicides to undesirable and non-native
aquatic plants on Clear Lake.


 The control of these plants is necessary to
maintain and encourage the growth of the native
fauna and flora plants, which beautify Clear Lake’s
aquatic community.
