MAYOR BUDDY DYER, DISTRICT 5 COMMISSIONER
DAISY LYNUM AND POLICE CHIEF MICHAEL MCCOY LAUNCH OPD SUBSTATION IN PARRAMORE

Police Chief Michael McCoy joined Mayor
Dyer and Commissioner Lynum at the official opening of the new
1,248 sq. ft. Orlando Police Department sub-station at
the CityView development in Parramore.

The new office has improved
technology capabilities so that officers can serve the citizens of
Parramore more efficiently.

Additionally, Chief McCoy and Mayor Dyer rolled out the
zero-tolerance signage initiative signifying the commitment to
eliminating prostitution and drugs in Parramore.

The Public Safety Pathway encompasses the Orlando Police
Department’s Community Policing Division and the City’s Code
Enforcement Division.

Both of these divisions are working to reduce crime and code
violations in Parramore by adding Code Enforcement Officers and by
assigning Orlando Police Officers to build relationships with
residents, business owners and key stakeholders.
