Business District
Program
The
objective of the Business District Program is to encourage
the formation and assist in the development of business
associations within the City of Orlando by assisting with
events sponsorships, which will result in the promotion and
growth of the business district.
Program Parameters:
 |
The
District must be located within the City of Orlando. |

A
clearly defined business association must be in place. |
|
One
application per business district per year is eligible for
the program. |
|
The
Business Association must be clearly represented by a
selected person or group of persons. Fifty-one percent
of the businesses in the defined association must be
represented for the program consideration. |
|
For
events, the City must be a recognized sponsor. City
Logo is to be included on all electronic and printed materials and/or
banner displays. The City must be granted booth/table
access for marketing of City programs. |
The
City of Orlando will cover the following expenses:

Acquisition
and placement of all materials which will be located
in the City's right of way to include but not limited
to; benches, receptacles, planters, plants, etc.
Marketing assistance and other requests shall be
subject to city staff approval. |

The
City will incur costs up to $2000.00 per business
district event, to include work performed by the City. |
