Mayor Buddy Dyer’s
Community Builder Award

“I appreciate every City resident who has donated
their time, talent and resources to improving our quality of life.
Through hard work, unprecedented partnerships and a shared vision
we’ve set our City on course for a better tomorrow for everyone who
lives here, works here, or chooses to raise a family in Orlando.” -
Mayor Buddy Dyer
The City of Orlando values the contributions of
non-profit and charitable organizations that help build a stronger
community. To recognize these organizations and their volunteers, who
have a significant impact on the well-being of our community, Mayor
Buddy Dyer has created the Community Builder Award. This award
honors citizen volunteers and organizations that excel in their efforts
to build a better community.

These individuals and organizations, with
determination and heart, have improved our community in many areas,
including the environment, arts, crime prevention, education, sports,
