Mayor’s Faith Based
 and Community
 Matching Grants

Purpose

The Mayor's Faith-Based and Community Matching Grants (MFBCMG) program was established in 2001 as a result of a recommendation by a Citizen Advisory Committee made up of representatives from the local community.

Grant funds are available annually, with awards ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 that are matched dollar for dollar by the nonprofit organization using a combination of cash, volunteer labor and/or in-kind goods or services.

This year’s focus is on youth programming in crime prevention and anti-violence. Projects and programs that provide adult supervised, structured activities to City of Orlando youth during non-school hours will be highly considered.
