Volunteer Program

The Volunteer Program Coordinator recruits, places, and recognizes citizen and employee volunteers that assist in various city department projects and at special events.

Citizen volunteers work with the Orlando Police Department through the Citizen Observer Program (COP) to patrol areas of Orlando and assist the Police by reporting suspicious activity, working special City events, and providing traffic control at vehicle accident scenes.
