Neighborhood Websites
Value of an
Association Website
The Internet and websites have changed the way
we gather information. The Internet has made us accustomed to accessing
information 24 hours a day and seven days a week. A website for your
association is a very powerful communication tool and makes information
about your association much more convenient. An association website,
which is properly maintained and utilized, makes it possible for
associations to share information and announcements in a very cost
effective and timely manner.
For a
website to have maximum effectiveness and efficiency its information
must be current and regularly updated or members/neighbors will stop
going to the website.
Here are some companies that appear to be
popular among neighborhood groups that provide free or inexpensive
association websites. This list is not intended to be inclusive and the
City recognizes that there may be many other sources for free or
inexpensive neighborhood websites. Another option you have is to conduct
a web search for “hoa website hosting” or “association website hosting”,
etc. to find sites.
The City of Orlando does not endorse these
companies and is only providing this list as a convenience.
