The mission of the Orlando Fire Department is to protect the lives and property of Orlando Citizens. Mayor Buddy Dyer and Fire Chief Roderick Williams are proud to lead the only fire department in the state to have ISO 1 classification, International Fire Accreditation, Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP) certification and ACE accreditation (911/Communications Center). Updates to Minimum Standards Code

The City of Orlando Fire Department is committed to the health and safety of its residents. With recent fires in our city, we have taken proactive measures to ensure our neighbors are protected. We have worked alongside Code Enforcement to revise the City’s Minimum Standards Code to incorporate portions of the International Maintenance Code to better ensure safe living and maintenance standards for Orlando residents and businesses.  Read more
