Fire Marshal Tammy Hughes

Fire Marshal Tammy Hughes joined the Orlando Fire Department in 1994. She worked civilian ranks and was promoted to Fire Marshal on June 3, 2003. Fire Marshal Hughes has a Fire Science Degree in four disciplines: Fire prevention, investigation, firefighting  and emergency medical technician. She supervises nine certified municipal fire safety inspectors.

Fire Safety Management Division

The Fire Safety Management Division’s mission is to ensure the reduction of injuries through fire plan review, fire inspections of all commercial buildings, code enforcement and education.
