Teach-In
Once a year, Orlando Firefighters
participate in the National Teach-In program in the Orange County Public
Schools. Firefighters volunteer for a one-hour presentation speaking about their
career and all that is involved in what they do. The Orlando Fire Department is
the most requested speaker and we provide 30-40 speakers annually, making us the
most active volunteer group.If you are interested in obtaining more
information about having an Orlando Firefighter participate in a Teach-In at
your school, please contact the Division of Public Relations.
