Parramore Heritage Park is located on both the
north and south sides of W. Church Street, just west of downtown
Orlando. The 6.85 acre site was developed in 2009 into an attractive
park surrounding storm water ponds that service the surrounding
neighborhood. Sidewalks popular with walkers encompass the ponds and
are lit by attractive historic-style light fixtures. A large clock,

lighted stone obelisk with inscriptions around the raised base.
The new playground is open to the public with a play structure, trees for shade, decorative fencing
to keep the children safe from traffic and the pond, lighting and
seating for caregivers to watch the children. It is located in the
southeastern corner of the park on W. Jackson Street.
