Families, Parks and Recreation
Need to green-up your home? Need some shade? The City of Orlando wants to help you build and maintain a healthy urban forest. The Parks Division has two tree-planting programs: one for individuals and one for neighborhood groups or associations. Check out the details and apply on-line. Trees In The Parkway Trees To Good Homes Neighborhood groups are asked to help organize citizens who would like trees, assist in raising funds to buy the trees and be willing to plant the trees. Trees will be available in two sizes: 15 gallon, 6’-8’ tall, about 40lbs, approximately $50 each; or 30 gallon, 8’-10’, about 125lbs, and approximately $100. |
