Highlights:
Regional Center
The Northwest Community Center is a full-service community
center located two blocks north of Colonial Drive/Highway 50 and
two blocks west of John Young Parkway. The complex houses the
Orange County Hal Marston Community Center, the Orange County
Northwest Health Clinic as well as the Northwest Community
Center and Swimming Pool.
Programs:
OASIS: Mon - Fri,
2: 30 pm - 5: 30 pm - After school program for youths
enrolled in kindergarten through 5th grade, homework
assistance, athletic and creative art activities; Fee maybe
required
Camp Orlando:
(Summer) - Mon - Fri 7: 30 am – 5: 30 pm - Summer program
for youth who have successfully completed kindergarten
through entering into 8th grade; activities include:
athletic, creative arts, field trips, swimming, and daily
lunch and snack; Fee maybe required
Competitive Youth Tackle
Football: Fall, 5 – 7: 30 pm - Youth ages 8
through 15 games are played on Saturday mornings
Competitive Youth
Cheerleading: Fall, 5 – 7: 30 pm - Youth ages 8
through 15, perform at games on Saturday mornings and
year-end competition
Youth Junior Magic
Basketball: Winter, 5 – 7: 30 pm - Boys and Girls
Basketball practices and games, are held on Saturday
mornings
Youth Cheerleading Class:
7: 30 am – 5: 30 pm - Non-competitive training classes for
youth ages 5 through 14
