Highlights:

Southport Park is a 52 acre Mayor’s Park Initiative Cornerstone Park. Early on the site was home to Timucuan and Seminole Indians and settlers from the north. The site was later developed as Air Force base, then Navy base. It is a regional scale park designed to meet the needs of the community through 2015.
