Families, Parks & Recreation The Families, Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
consults with, advises, and assists the Mayor and City Council in establishing
a City-wide comprehensive system of supervised recreational, cultural and
educational facilities and programs in their broadest sense, including, but not
limited to sports, athletics, playgrounds, recreation centers, and activities
for the diversion and entertainment of both residents and visitors; advises as
to the proper care and management of facilities and charging of rental fees for
use of such facilities; recommend to the Families, Parks & Recreation
Director adoption of rules and regulations pertaining to conduct of third
persons at, in, or about public facilities and on public property under the
direction of Department of Families, Parks & Recreation. Considers City
