Performs specialized recreation
work in the provision of leisure programs, sports and other recreational
actives for various age and ability individuals and groups. Assisting a
Recreation Supervisor in the operation of a community center in the
overall organization and delivery of general recreational activities,
leagues, special events, clinics and seasonal programs. Work is
performed under the direct supervision of the Recreation supervisor and
is reviewed while in progress and upon completion by observation and
through reports submitted. Some positions may require working outdoors
and the employee may be occasionally exposed to extreme heat and
insects. Employee must work evenings and weekends. Includes maintaining
log/records collection of membership and/or rental fees, preparing
financial reports, attendance reports, open/close facility.
