Magic Registration Form (Youth Sports)
City of Orlando’s Athletic Programs have
been the foundation of the Recreation Division from its inception in 1925. An
orientation to health and fitness is natural in an environment that enjoys
year-round sunshine. The City of Orlando offers quality programs and facilities
for adults and youth of all ages and skill levels. If teams sports are in your
interest, you will find all the bases covered with baseball, basketball,
softball, flag football, volleyball, cheerleading, tackle football and track
leagues. There’s also the Orlando Skate Park for
in-line skating and skate
boarding, Orlando Tennis Centre, racquetball swimming and volleyball.

ADULT
SPORTS
The City of Orlando Recreation Division’s Athletic Program offers a variety
of sports leagues and opportunities for adult, including basketball, football,
softball and volleyball. For more

Adult Basketball (18 years old & up) – Two 10-week leagues per year.
Leagues are held in May and September, with registration held 30 days prior to
the season. The National Federation of State High School Association rules
govern play.
Cost $311.46 per team, per season.
Adult Flag Football (18 years old & up) –
Games will be played at the Orlando Sports Campus
starting in February 2008. Registration will
start January 30, 2008 through February 4,
2008 at

Adult Softball (18 years old & up) – One seven-week season starting
in January and two 10-week seasons a year beginning in March and August, with
registration taking place 30 days prior to season. Amateur Softball
Associational (ASA) rules govern play for the following divisions: Men, Coed
and Faith-based organizations. Locations are: Lake Fairview, Engelwood
Community Center, Dr. James R. Smith Neighborhood Center.

YOUTH
SPORTS
The City of Orlando Recreation Division's Athletics Program offers a wide range
of fun athletic opportunities for youth including cheerleading, football, track
baseball and basketball. For more information call

Cheerleading (7-15 years old) - Every August is the beginning
of cheerleading season. The program includes: Pee Wee, Junior and Senior
divisions. Registration fee ($20.09 per child) is required days prior to
season. Games are held at various city locations.
Cheerleading Clinic (7-15 years old) – Offered every July,
this clinic focuses on the fundamentals of cheers, stunts and dance. The clinic
is FREE for program participants and registration priority is given to current
league participants.
Fall Tackle Football 9-14 years old) – Pee Wee, Junior and
Senior divisions. Season begins in August with games held at various City
locations. A registration fee of $20.09 plus a physical exam is required
for each participant. Registration begins 30 days prior to season.
Hershey Track Meets (9-15 years old) – Local and District
meets held in June.
Youth Baseball Leagues (6-15 years old) –
Spring League
Winter Junior Magic Basketball (9-15 years old) – A popular
league for coed participants. Registration begins 30 days prior to season and
the cost is per child $20.09 and $10.50 for a required uniform. Games
are played at City recreation centers, which include: Orlando Downtown
Recreation Center, Dr. James R. Smith Center, Northwest Community Center,
Engelwood Neighborhood Center and two additional sites.
