Notice: Affordable Care Act

The period to apply for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act has been extended and changes have been made so you can get lower premiums. The special enrollment period for residents to choose health insurance through the Affordable Care Act marketplace and the eligibility process has been extended until August 15, 2021.

In addition, for changes that occurred in March 2021, you have the possibility of obtaining a reduction in your monthly premium. These changes will help more people who were left without health coverage due to job loss during the pandemic and loss of income.
