Energy Star Home and Florida Green Home Designation
The Orlando House  has been designed  to fulfill requirements of an Energy Star® Home as well as meet specific criteria to secure the prestigious Green Home Designation. Through the certification process, the Orlando House will demonstrate how the interplay of  design and materials can be applied to new and existing homes in Central Florida to increase the homes energy efficiency.  Visitors to the Orlando House will receive free information about these sustainable and environmentally friendly products, practices and rebate programs.
