How to Apply and Clerical Testing

First time users must register to use our system. You may accomplish this by selecting ‘Login’ and then ‘Register to Apply Online’ to submit on current job openings or interest cards.

In order to register, you will need to have a valid email address to receive your login information to access our system. Free email accounts can be acquired from many sites, including gmail, yahoo.com and hotmail.com.

Current Registered users please ‘Login’ to access your Employment Profile. If you encounter difficulty, retrieve your password to access your account. Do not create duplicate profiles.

Clerical Testing:  Clerical testing is administered only when clerical positions are open and must be completed by the job closing date.  Tests are administered M-F 8:00AM – 4:15 PM.  Applicants are allowed a maximum of two opportunities to pass the typing test within the posting period. An applicant will be given only one typing test per day. A 30-day waiting period is required between two failed typing tests. Typing test results are valid for 1 year.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City will provide reasonable accommodations to individuals for testing.  Persons with a disability requiring a reasonable accommodation should contact 407-246-2235 to schedule a test.
