Curitiba
has long been a Sister City of Orlando, established in 1996.
The capital of the southern state of Paraná, Curitiba has been
designated the Environmental Center of Mercosur and the Software Capital
of Brazil. Curitiba is a great
example of a city that has embraced urban planning and comprehensive
transit systems. With
visionary leaders and a creative, industrious workforce, Curitiba has much
in common with Orlando, including a central park with swan boats!
