Orenburg, Russia


Located on the southern border of Russia on the historic Silk Road, Orenburg is a major crossroads for trade between Russia and Central Asia.  Orenburg is rich in natural energy resources such as oil, coal and gas, and is also home to the Orenburg Tsentralny Airport and Orenburg Air Base.  The city contains a number of diverse universities and performing arts venues.

Orlando became Sister Cities with Orenburg in 1997.
