With a wide array of amenities that enhance the lives of our residents, Orlando is a place where quality of life is second to none.
In recent years, the City has made significant investments in providing parks and green space for you to enjoy. Since 2003, we have built 20 new parks and renovated 22 more. Later this year, we will open our first off-leash dog park and a mountain bike park.
Our 83 parks offer a variety of activities and facilities, ranging from fishing, camping and trails at Bill Frederick Park to the playground at Z.L. Riley Park. Many of the parks can be reserved for special events like birthday parties and family reunions.
In addition to the parks located throughout the City, we offer 17 community centers and two senior facilities that offer recreational, fitness, cultural and educational programs. Our aquatics program includes four year-round pools and seven seasonal pools with free open swim sessions for residents.
