The City of Orlando is committed to staying connected with our residents. Through our website, CityofOrlando.net, and social media platforms, we are able to use technology to engage and inform our citizens.
In 2012, we launched Engage Orlando, an interactive website that allows residents to share ideas, comment on the suggestions of others and provide solutions. We used the website to help define our green initiative, Green Works Orlando, and more than 1,000 people contributed to the plan.
Engage Orlando is unique because it allows you to contribute to a discussion before a project begins. The platform also provides you with the opportunity to comment or offer suggestions online at any time, not just during a public workshop. This allows the City to gain more public input and find out what matters most to our residents.
I encourage you to visit Engage Orlando and contribute to our bike trails study and our Downtown initiative, Project DTO. Through your participation, we will shape Orlando’s future and continue to make our city the best place to live, work and play.
Visit Engage Orlando to connect and contribute.
