The growth and vibrancy of Downtown Orlando was evident Wednesday when I joined the Downtown Orlando Partnership at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts for the 26th annual Golden Brick Awards.
The awards celebrate developments and community projects that positively impact Downtown Orlando. There were more than enough to choose from in 2014. The projects that were awarded have contributed to the energy that you feel when you walk around our Downtown. Vibrant, dynamic and full of charm and character, Downtown Orlando is alive.
We have a creative arts scene and a growing transit system. We’re a hub for sports, entertainment and technology. We’re expanding opportunities for education, cultural events and family activities.
Congratulations to the Golden Brick Award winners and thank you to our residents, business owners and community partners for creating the energy that makes Downtown Orlando a great place to live, work, play and learn.
