A new partnership with the Fresh Stop Mobile Market bus will provide residents who do not have access to affordable, high-quality produce with the opportunity to purchase fresh food.
Operated by Hebni Nutrition Consultants, the Fresh Stop Mobile Market will make regular visits to the Dr. J.B. Callahan Neighborhood Center, the John H. Jackson Community Center and the L. Claudia Allen Senior Center.
Limited fresh, nutritional food choices often result in poor nutrition and contribute to obesity, diabetes and heart disease. By bringing the Fresh Stop Mobile Market to areas where it is difficult to find and purchase affordable and fresh produce, we will encourage residents to include fresh fruits and vegetables in their diets.
