The Summit was created in 2005 to give community and neighborhood leaders the opportunity to network and attend workshops where they can learn about available City programs and resources. The Summit has become a great place for local leaders to meet and interact with peers, City staff and elected officials who share the same enthusiasm for creating stronger neighborhoods.
You don’t have to attend the Summit to become involved in the community. The City of Orlando offers numerous volunteer opportunities, ranging from ORLANDO CARES, which addresses youth literacy and community safety, to Keep Orlando Beautiful with its cleanup events to Neighborhood Watch. And our Neighborhood Relations team can connect you to active residents in your neighborhood and help you effectively access and use City services and other community resources.
I encourage you to become active in your community. Active and engaged residents help keep Orlando a special place to live.
